「We stayed in March while they were in the middle of a huge renovation. Therefore it is best to make sure these rankings are properly framed. Our room was clean and spacious. We were however right by the entrance door from the parking lot and therefore had a LOT of noise when people were coming and going. It had a small deck but at 45 degrees with a wind off the lake, we did not sit on it! The renovation will be nice but we just wanted a place to stay for the night and it suited our needs...

「The room was fresh smelling when we entered. The staff was really friendly and helpful. The kids enjoyed the pool and the temp was perfect. The only complaint I have is the neighbors were so noisy until 4 in the morning so the sleep wasn’t the best. 」

「Pool not working. Most of motel used for workers for fish house on a monthly basis. And didn't speak english. Frig didn't work. Good internet. Noisy in hallway but did sleep well. Definitely not worth price I paid on expedia. Room was close to door that was unlocked all the time. Owners were gone and staff were friendly, felt sorry for them. Advertising does not match motel. Lousy painting job in room. Heat did work, thankfully. 」

「I was very disappointed with my stay and would not recommend this hotel. While the new renovations looked nice at first glance, it was clear they were done poorly—it felt like they simply slapped a layer of paint on the walls and called it finished, without addressing underlying issues. One major inconvenience is that there is no elevator in the building. 「The lake was majestically frozen this time of year. We enjoyed the view of it from the full floor to ceiling windows of our Cedar cabin. The sauna beside the lake with a full bathroom with shower was a luxury for this time of year. I imagine the small building that houses it is also a luxury for after swimming in the lake.This property is beautiful. It has to be a joy during the summer, however it is very pricey. 「My family really enjoyed our stay. Baxter restaurant had wonderful food! Our room was spacious and clean. We would book again and recommend this place as a family friendly stay with a fun little waterpark. 」

「Dirty room, sheets had mud, oily wet spot, blood on mattress pad, mattress protector had urine on it. Staff weren’t able to switch rooms and don’t have fresh clean mattress protector or correct size linens. 」

「No soap in shower or sink. What looked like smeared poop on the underside of our white quilt. Pool and hot tub not available but no mention of that when booking. No continental breakfast but was also mentioned when booking. I have pictures of the poop smeared quilt which I only saw after sleeping in the bed.」
