“We stayed in March while they were in the middle of a huge renovation. Therefore it is best to make sure these rankings are properly framed. Our room was clean and spacious. We were however right by the entrance door from the parking lot and therefore had a LOT of noise when people were coming and going. It had a small deck but at 45 degrees with a wind off the lake, we did not sit on it! The renovation will be nice but we just wanted a place to stay for the night and it suited our needs……

“The room was fresh smelling when we entered. The staff was really friendly and helpful. The kids enjoyed the pool and the temp was perfect. The only complaint I have is the neighbors were so noisy until 4 in the morning so the sleep wasn’t the best. ”

“My family really enjoyed our stay. Baxter restaurant had wonderful food! Our room was spacious and clean. We would book again and recommend this place as a family friendly stay with a fun little waterpark. ”

“Bathroom was a disaster”

“Dirty room, sheets had mud, oily wet spot, blood on mattress pad, mattress protector had urine on it. Staff weren’t able to switch rooms and don’t have fresh clean mattress protector or correct size linens. ”

“The hot water didn’t work for the bathroom sink. They didn’t have a hot breakfast, the eggs and sausage warmers were not clean cleaned from the previous day and so they just didn’t make eggs and sausage for Sunday morning. When I asked I was told “she didn’t make it” with no offer to rectify the issue. It smelled like cigarettes I. The hallways. ”

“This place is amazing! The people are wonderful, like family actually. The property is clean and cozy. And it’s the perfect place to bring your family or just relax for two like we did. Best staycation ever! ”

“The lake was majestically frozen this time of year. We enjoyed the view of it from the full floor to ceiling windows of our Cedar cabin. The sauna beside the lake with a full bathroom with shower was a luxury for this time of year. I imagine the small building that houses it is also a luxury for after swimming in the lake.This property is beautiful. It has to be a joy during the summer, however it is very pricey. There are more budget friendly places around. However, for a special time with……

“Hi, we would highly recommend staying at this hotel. With all of the new renovations it's very clean and cozy. The on-site manager, Luke, was very professional and accommodating. The only minor item that should be mentioned is the quality of the hair conditioner in the pre-filled wall dispenser located in the shower. It was low quality and merely water being dispensed. Although, the hotel does provide the small shampoo and conditioner bottles to rectify this concern. Again, we will……
