"Smooth check in, lovely staff and comfortable room / bed. Perfect location for Belfast and as a solo female traveller I felt incredible safe."

"Pear Tree Cottage. Business traveller...plenty of parking, plenty of space to work, comfortable double bed, wifi is good, shower is good, hot water plentiful but no shower gel's or shampoo provided. The towels that are provided are older than me and are in a size more akin to hand towel than bath towel. So pack your toiletries and towel before you arrive. The property is in a lovely rural location and can feel isolated, so as there is no access to food on / near site either come prepared or get ready for a drive. As a self catering holiday let, I'd dare say again; plenty of parking, plenty of space, good shower, comfy bed, good wifi........BUT.....I would add no welcome basket upon arrival. There are no shops nearby (that I saw) so take with you whatever you think you'll need and this includes tea, coffee, milk and sugar! Entering the lounge / kitchen I found a packet of biscuits (thank you very much) and a box of six coffee sachet things that you pour into a mug and add hot water....there was no milk - fresh or UHT, no sugar - I assume the gifts had been left by the owner as a welcome but equally could have been left by the last guest much like the random assortment of half used sauces in one cupboard. Being very fussy, there are plates, cups and mugs etc but nothing matches and it all feels old and unloved. Great location for a romantic break or to disconnect. It's a good facility, not bad, not exceptional, just.....good. Good value but wouldn't stay again."

"Very busy hotel in a not so busy area. I felt it was a bit dated so could do with an upgrade. Bedrooms are a great size. WiFi was not good so difficult to work."

"Lovely stay overall at a beautiful hotel in a great location. Our room was very clean and spacious with great amenities, and a turn-down service. The bar was a real highlight with live music, delicious cosmopolitans, great service and a lovely atmosphere. Unfortunately, roadworks outside hit a pipe during our stay, which affected the water supply. This meant we couldn’t shower on the last day, and by the following morning the water had run out completely so the toilet would not flush either. I appreciate this was outside of the hotel’s control, but it did impact what was otherwise a relaxing stay. Bottled water was available, although we had to request extra rather than it being offered proactively. We did receive 15% off the bill as a goodwill gesture, which was appreciated, though only after I raised it. Not the hotel’s fault, but it did spoil an otherwise lovely stay, hence the reduction from five stars to four."

"ALL FOOD WAS EXCELENT AND STAFF VERY HELPFUL"

"The room was cute though a bit awkward having half of the bathroom in the room and shower and toilet either side. The restaurant was really expensive for what it was and the location. The pork meal I paid £30 (assuming it would be amazing for that price) tasted really weird/not great and I had stomach pains after that for hrs. The Spa was great, a button to order drinks would be easier or electronic bracelet to wear and choose options via tablet. Otherwise no one would be swimming with a phone and too cold to get out to order another drink. The staff aren’t really proactive or present. Felt we had to go find someone or get their attention a lot of the time, just not what you’d expect for the price you are paying to stay and eat there."

"Ideal hotel for visiting Antrim and surrounding areas. Free parking always a bonus. The hotel was quiet, very clean, beds comfortable, staff all helpful and polite. Our stay included breakfast which was self service with a good selection of food and the coffee from the machine was really good also. We didn't eat meals in the hotel as visiting friends in area but would definitely stay here again."
