River Rock Cottage Is Located On The Shore Of Lake Superior On Chequamegon Bay.

"We were 8 women and this place was perfect. It was close to kayaking tour of apostle islands and Madeline Island. Had a great time having cocktails on the pier during sunset and hanging out around fire pit (firewood included!) for s’mores and more cocktails. The house was perfect for board games and eating. Plenty of space and two bathrooms were appreciated! The driveway was large enough for all four car. The host was very responsive from the start of registration thru departure. Beautiful, spacious and quiet property. We would definitely recommend it."

"The host provided detailed information on finding the Inn and checking in. She was very helpful and friendly. The parking area is only steps from the entrance and was well lit. We interior design was perfect, with all the details matching the country theme. The location was close to town, but in the country with wide vistas, allowing us to enjoy both sunrise and sunset as well as the star filled sky. The kitchenette was perfect for us, with a small, but still roomy refrigerator, coffee maker, dishes and excellent selection of utensils and other kitchen tools like hotpads and towels. The two level layout worked well for us allowing for a nice living space to be together, but plenty of room for privacy. The upper seating area was huge and very comfortable. The bathroom was well appointed with lovely towels and plenty of room. The gathering room was very inviting and cozy. We enjoyed watching the horses as well as meeting the baby donkey. Thank you for making our mother daughter get away perfect."

"A Perfect Family Getaway!We had an absolutely wonderful stay! Finding a rental that comfortably accommodates a large multi-generational family can be a challenging, but this property was perfect for all ages. The home was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with plenty of space for everyone to relax and make memories. The lake itself was stunning and crystal clean-ideal for spending quality time outdoors. On top of the fantastic setting, the host was exceptional. Communication was prompt and clear throughout our stay, and when we needed something, they were over in minutes to help out. We couldn't have asked for a better experience and would love to return!"

"Very nice property. I love that it was dog friendly and our pup had a great time. There was music in the park Monday night and great ice cream shops. The nearby beachs were clean and very accessible. Bedrooms are upstairs and bathrooms are downstairs. We maneuvered just fine but would not be easy if one can not do stairs. Definitely would stay again!"

"A peaceful, private sort of home, perfect for larger groups with a wonderful, large living area and well appointed kitchen. Close enough to work as a hub for exploring the Bayfield peninsula while a quick jaunt to Ashland for any forgotten items or an evening supper out at any number of excellent restaurants.We found a brochure on waterfalls in the very full information notebook on the area and changed up morning plans. Really nice, easy hike to a charming waterfall.We will be back!"
