"The Cedars is a classic 1950's motel, in pristine condition, complete with the original sign, colors, furniture, everything. It's like stepping into a time machine. The bathroom looks brand new, but brand new like it would have been in the 1950's, with a turquoise tub and toilet. Beds were very comfortable, bedspreads seemed new, carpet was very clean (recently insalled). My only complaint is the bathtowel was very small, but they gave three so I just used extra. "
"Staff were very helpful & friendly. Was off season (skiing) so not many guests. Quick & seamless check in & out. Friendly & accomodating staff.
Beautiful scenery, the chalet along with the view reminded me of a mini-Switzerland. Food ordered in restaurant came out quickly & was very tasty.
Had a nice size indoor pool with hot tub. Parking was convenient. I have been in the travel business for decades & would recommend this property to my clients that are looking for something more intimate & not a chain. If you want country setting, with a European flair, this is it."
