「Had the most amazing stay at Sola a few weeks ago!! The hotel is beautiful and well kept. Service was fantastic (thorough clean of rooms daily, helpful and attentive workers, lovely coffee and breakfast by the pool included each day). Shower pressure was great and nice enclosed bathroom. 「I only had a one night stay but a nice experience. The property is cool and has everything you need. Staff was helpful and accommodating. Just one thing to note you will need to rely on grabs or ground transportation to leave and come back to the hotel but I believe that is typical for the area. Overall a lovely stay!」

Staff is not properly identified; some random dudes grabbed our bags from us without saying that they belonged to the Korowai when we arrived and proceeded to (heroically!) carry them down the most treacherous of stairs. It is incredibly difficult to get to your room and not safe for children, and yet the Korowai offers a “family room.” The private beach is unmaintained, rocky, and it is impossible to swim, and wild dogs with infected eyes run...
