“From start at reception ,we had food which was very good ,a nice pint of guinness and the room we stayed in was cosy clean and comforting,i could not of asked for more. Thank you to all staff.”

“Great wayside inn, good selection of food, real ale, very smart, clean rooms. Lovely freshly cooked breakfast. Friendly, welcoming staff. Nothing to fault. ”

“We arrived early and asked if we could possibly check in and fortunately we could. Nothing was too much trouble and all of the staff were very helpful. Our family joined us for breakfast the following morning and again all was good. I would definitely recommend a visit.”

“I had two rooms booked - a twin for one person and a superior double. Both excellent. Gripe for the superior was about a half an hour to run a bath and no Wi-Fi :( possibly due to location at the back of the hotel. We were there for a family 90 th nearby so it was a great opportunity to stay. Accrington was £6 in an uber. Disappointing though to have to pay a tenner if you want to use the pool :( gym free mind. Overall though a great hotel and thanks for the late bar. Our tariff was RO so……

“Totally enjoyed it from start to finish. Comfy bed, lovely view from room 17. The staff were very nice and helpful. The breakfast was spot on, as were the evening meals. Lovely part of the country with plenty of walks. ”

“A steady clean hotel away from the hustle of the city centre. The staff were super friendly, special mention to Kiran on the check in desk. The room was tight for space but as it was only a one night stay that was perfectly acceptable. The bed was really comfy. The only thing I would knock it for would be there was a lot of dust around the TV area. The gym area looked neat and tidy, I didn’t use them as I’d used a gym in the city prior to arrival. The restaurant area had a nice feel to it even……
