We thought the house was located in a more remote area without other houses close by.However this location was great for us-between Staunton and Charlottesville.Unfortunately our ice/water dispenser was not working properly and leaked so we chose not to use it. We loved the decor and comfort of this home away from home!We definitely would consider staying here again!Thanks!"

"An elegant old house tastefully redeveloped, with large, comfortable and stylish rooms. Great location close to breweries, wineries and hiking and not far from Charlottesville. So, mostly good but the administrative and customer-service side could be better. We weren't sent the code for the front door and another couple we met weren't sent the code for their room. I received the checkout instructions after having already left the property. "

"Overall, our stay was great! It was exactly what we were looking for location-wise, and we had a fantastic time. All of the amenities worked, but a few had some cosmetic issues. The top of the microwave would fall off when we used it, and the dishwasher is starting to fall due to the way it was installed. Besides these few issues, everything went well! Would stay again."
