"we had an amazing time at barcelo for a week. it was a great location if you want a bit of quiet, and good for sunsets!! i recommend bringing shampoo and conditioner though, as the shampoo isn’t the best and there is not conditioner in the suites. the room size was huge which we were pleasantly surprised by! lots of pool area, beach access and nice walks along the beach in both directions. i would stay there again!"

"We booked this rental for a bachelorette party. There was 11 of us total. The house manager was very difficult to get a hold of prior to scheduling everything. The staff was great when we arrived. However, the food was lackluster and very minimal even though we paid for the groceries. We had to keep repeatedly, asking the chef to make more food as we were eating just because there wasn't enough for all of us to eat together. Depending on what we had on the menu that day it varied. I wouldn't say that the food was all around great some days were good and some days we're OK.The bartender was very kind, however, it was not what we were expecting. We were looking forward to having a bartender that could make fun cocktails, and shots. However, the bartender had very limited knowledge of drinks/shots and was basically there just to stir drinks. We even bought mixers and all the alcohol to be able to have the cocktails and he was still not able to do it. As I mentioned, it was very difficult to communicate with the property manager. It was hard for him to give me receipts for everything that we paid for. When we tipped them for the whole trip, he pocketed all the money even though it's supposed to be split between him and the chef. He was told in person face to face. So in the end, we had to spend a lot more than we were initially quoted. It is a very beautiful location the house itself is definitely seen better days. Everything was kind of cleaned but not spotless."

"Best possible view of the ocean, it’s like being on a cruise ship balcony, you can almost reach out and touch it, lots of sea life, like an aquarium. "

"1. That elevator needs to be replaced. It’s so old and rusted we were scared to use it . Also not having access to it from inside the house is inconvenient. 2. Bath towels and Pool towels need to be replaced everyday . We had to ask for it which I think was ridiculous. 3. The Air conditioner in the top bedroom was leaking and the floor was slippery. 4. The biggest problem was lizards running around inside and outside the house. 5. The dryer in the house never worked, which was hard for swim clothes to dry"

"The villa was very clean and spacious, with plenty of room to relax. Each room had its own AC unit, allowing us to adjust the temperature to our comfort—the rooms stayed perfectly cool throughout our stay. We didn’t require laundry service, so we didn’t make use of that."

"Elevator didn't work which was tough for people staying on the bottom floor. Tough for luggage and just going up and down to the pool area. Jacuzzi jets didn't work either. "
