Beautiful Home

We love staying here and it is a great open house with space for everyone. The location is perfect for walking to campground, dock and the restaurant. Highly recommend this home and looking forward to staying again in the future.

Lots of space in Bodega Bay

The size of the house gave all of us a sense of privacy, while having plenty of community space to enjoy our times together. Good sized kitchen, large family room, and a large pool table, were all great gathering spaces. Next time I hope we can stay longer! Thanks for the hospitality!

Pool table was fun to have. Linens lacked wash cloths, some cooking items (potholders, grill tongs, etc) weren’t provided. Good ratio of bathrooms to people. Excellent location.

Our second visit to this terrific place to stay with friends for a couple of days - plenty of privacy when it's wanted, and communal space with an open kitchen/dining/living room for socializing. Great communication with the owner (thank you!), easy access to the property and the pool table is a big plus...if you're an early riser you might get a peek at a grazing deer on the 'back yard' hill.

Great house and great location

My family rented this for a wedding weekend my brother was having in Bodega Bay Ca. It was the perfect location between all of the events. So close and the house was lovely. Nice that it had 3 full bathrooms , one was in the hallway and it had 2 master suites and a billiard table. The owner was great at communication and let us check in early because we were traveling and had arrived early. I highly recommend staying here and I will come back again.

Bodega Bay house

This property was very clean and organized. The kitchen is large and has the utensils and equipment needed for almost any meal preparation. There is plenty of room for a family and the pool table was a hit with the visiting grandkids. The area has plenty of good food options, including Fisherman's Cove and The Birds cafe. Note that there is no washer/dryer access in this home.

Down by the Bay

A fairly spacious home with 3 bedrooms, each has a bathroom - great for families or friends. A nice plus was the pool table downstairs from the main living area. Good response time from the friendly owner too. Next time I would bring an extra bath towel; the single towel provided for each person (we stayed 3 days) resulted in damp towel for 2 mornings.

Very spacious and comfortable

It was a wonderful trip to the coast. Beautiful days even when it rained a bit. Loved the layout of the house. Bedrooms are located so they provide a lot of privacy. On the negative: way too much in additional fees. Just about puts me out of renting again when all of those are applied.

Overall great time. House clean and had all you needed for cooking. However, only one towel per person no wash cloths or floor mats for bathrooms. Problems with tub draining in downstairs shower. Outside fire pit area not useable due to ground erosion.

Well, equipped, large home in Bodega Bay.

We just returned from a lovely weekend in this home in bodega Bay. It suited the needs of our family quite well. The kitchen was well equipped and all the appliances worked well. However, we have a few suggestions: Install, non-slip shower decals on master bathroom shower floor. That slippery shower floor represents a major fall waiting to happen. We could never figure out how to use the ceiling fan in the living room, so written instructions in the house would be helpful. The home is very well located for all the activities in bodega bay and the housekeeping service did an excellent job in cleaning the house thoroughly for our arrival.

A bit of a hidden gem

For 35 years we've been renting houses at Bodega Harbour (i.e. the golf course complex), so this was a bit of a departure for us. Really glad we did so - this was a very nice house for five of us.The kitchen is very well (and simply) laid out with enough room for us all to work in it - which we do every meal, as we cook lots of gourmet foods every day. The fit-out of available appliances, tools, utensils, pots, pans, knives, etc was great - better than most houses we've stayed at. It was lacking dessert-sized plates.so plan to bring some paper plates if that matters to you.The 3x King bedrooms were all comfy and the temp control (at least upstairs) was fine. One of our (adult) friends ended up on the sofa bed in the downstairs game room and reported that the bed was "OK, for a sofa bed", but the downstairs full bathroom is attached to the bedroom, so you either have to trespass on the bedroom or come upstairs to use the bathroom, which is a bit awkward depending upon how friendly everyone is with each other!Overall, a great visit and a house we'd gladly rent again.
