Wonderful stay in Royal Tulip Gunung Geulis Bogor
We had a wonderful stay at the Royal Tulip on Guelis mountain near Bogor. The sight of the environment is fantastic. Staff was wonderful, more than professional. Really kind people glad to be of help. Especially Pak Rian of reception was extraordinary by organising personnel to sing Happy Birthday to my daughter, the special gifts, and enquiring afterwards how we liked it. Really good

二度と利用したくない。
見た目は綺麗だが、設備のメンテナンスが行き届いておらず、洗面台下からの水漏れやお湯が出ないなどのトラブルが相次いだ。 お湯が出ない事についてはホテル側からの説明が二転三転し、振り回されてしまった。チェックアウト時に別途事情の説明メールを送ってくれる、という事になったがその後なんの連絡もない。二度と利用したくない。

Nice hotel not very nice service.
The hotel is very nice but not well maintained. The food is very bad everything taste salty. I think they should really improve their food quality considering how isolated their location is. The people working at the hotel rarely smile. At breakfast especially the servers looked irritated and not very polite. Breakfast situation was very messy. The towels are so dirty i wished I brought my own..

Decent hotel, not the best experience
We stayed at the hotel for 2 nights (Friday - Sunday). Overall, it was a decent stay. The hotel itself looked very modern, and the room that we stayed in was located on the highest floor (6th floor), overseeing the mountains. The service was wonderful. Everyone was very kind, and seemed professionally trained. We ate in the hotel for our 2 nights there, and food was decent, with price like what you would expect in a luxury hotel. The parking was horrible. When we were on location, there was a sign for basement parking, but we were asked to park outside. The parking space was really bad, with holes as big as cars, and water puddles lasting few days after rain (at least it seemed that way). The road to the hotel was also terrible. Probably its because of constructions going on around the area, but we came home with our car really dirty. Tranquility and serenity are words I wouldn't use to describe the hotel experience. The room was not sound proof, and maybe because of the mountains, the echoes of trucks/large transportations passing by early in the morning woke us up constantly. Then there are footsteps in the hallway that we can hear whenever children run by our room. Another thing was the balcony. Although very spacious, could use better care. There were animals' feces on the sofa, and spider webs all around the ceiling. Overall, its a decent hotel for families. Better care of the hotel would definitely improve our experience.

The resort is amazing with a lot of activities for young and old. However surrounding area is quite difficult to explore. It will only be good if you are not intending to go out of the resort to explore the surrounding area.

Not at all the peaceful getaway I expected - packed to capacity with noisy Chinese and their screaming children, music blaring out at all hours of the day, terrible food and really quite run down for such an expensive room rate.

Nice view hotel
I stayed for 2 night. Hotel is very nice. A lot of facilty, such as 3 outdoor pool, playground, tiny gym, outbound games, and also hotel has a nice view. But, room is not sound proof good enough. We can hear people chit chat, laugh, from inside bed room. It's annoying Me. Breakfast is not as I expected. For 5 star hotel, breakfast is not good enough. Overall, hotel is good, but need improvement.

Perfect for a weekend getaway
It was a perfect weekend getaway. The room condition and the breakfast restaurant are more like 4-star rather than 5, but the gorgeous mountain view and the wonderful green surrounding the hotel really make up for the lack of details. The pool area is also very nice but the water was too murky. Other than that I was very satisfied for the price I paid. The staff were very kind and it only took me 50 mins to get back to Jakarta on a Sunday afternoon. Highly recommend for a short getaway from the hustle and bustle of Jakarta.

Marquise

Very nice hotel just over 1 hour from Jakarta, but you have to go through quite a small road for about 10 to 15 minutes, don't let the road scares you, it'll get wider close to the hotel. Btw, if your google maps direct you through Bogor exit, ignore it, just take the Ciawi exit. The hotel and its surrounding are the most beautiful in Bogor-Puncak area. Bedroom quite nice and they don't go cheaply on the power outlet. Wifi a bit on an off, maybe because our room is at the end of the building. At check in, quite breezy, we're allocated to the room facing the bar, a bit noisy so I asked for a room facing the mountains, easily approved and granted, which got a really nice view and fresh air. Breakfast quite nice, wide spread of choice although not the best 5* hotel breakfast, R hotel Rancamaya, Intercontinental Bandung got the better breakfast in comparison. They have 3 swimming pools, 1 of it allocated for adult only, very wise, especially for people who want to enjoy a nice long swim. The children pool is heated. Staffs very nice, food delicious, but they need to work on the coffee, it's really bad for the price we've paid.

한번쯤 가볼만해요.
직원들은 친절했고 객실상태도 나쁘지는 않았습니다. 수영장에 작은 슬라이드가 있고 작은 놀이터가있어 아이가 재밌게 즐겼지만 물이 깨끗해보이지는 않더군요. 주변에 아무것도없고 편의점같은것도 없어서 그점은 살짝 불편했습니다.

the hotel in a good shape and condition, the view is amazing if you choose the right time and spot. In overall it's worth to stay in this hotel. If i might want to give some advise it's only that the land area supposed to be wider, but i think it will be impossible since the surrounding area is already occupied.

Good facilities but need improvements in service
Check-in process was super slow, the room was only ready at 4pm when the official check-in was at 3pm. The reception told me they could not guarantee my executive deluxe room will have mountain view, although the website stated that this room type comes with mountain view (and that was the reason of me choosing this room). Upon check-in, we found the bedsheet with a big patch of blood stain covered under the comforter. The housekeeping changed a new sheet for us, although they only managed to get a clean sheet the third time because the first two sheets were tainted too. Breakfast spread was under expectations considering it is a 5-star resort. Other than that, the hotel has a lot of activities and facilities for both adults and children. The zen deck provides a great view of the mountainous area.

호텔닷컴에서 본 방의 컨디션과 실제 받은 방의 컨디션이 달랐습니다. 호텔측에 항의 하였지만 호텔닷컴의 오류라면서 호텔과 에이전트간의 미스커뮤니케이션을 왜 고객에서 전가하는지 이해를 못하겠습니다. 끝까지 항의 했지만 크리스마스라 빈방이 없다고 어쩔수 없다고만 할뿐 어떠한 보상조치도 이루어지지 않았네요.. 호구가 된 느낌..

It was far from what we expect from a 5 star hotel... - Location was in the middle of nowhere - No option on pillow softness - Bathroom always damp...I think the water from next room bathroom seeps into the wall because the bathroom wall sweats, also the shower drainage system has design issue thus the shower floor always filled water puddle - One of the towel smells of cigarette smokes On the bright side.. + The service staff always try to help...they even helped us carry our baby stroller down the stairs to the restaurant because the elevator access is closed due to a wedding. + Pools were great
