“The car park was a secure gated area for hotel patrons only which I found to be a massive plus for York.
As car parks in York, in my opinion, all seem to be hidden away and often some distance away from most of the accommodations as well as being quite expensive for overnight stays.
The receptionists were cheerful, friendly and helpful, which after a two and a half hour drive was a very welcome sight.
Our room, although not huge, was comfortable and more than adequate for our needs.

“A perfect location for the event I attended in York with great access to the Minister, Contemporary Art Gallery, De Grey Rooms, Bars and Restuarants. Didn't spend much time in the hotel, unfortunately (not even for breakfast). There was too much to do in the city! ”

“Exceptionally clean and comfy room, fresh bedding and towels available.
Perfect location on the river, by the train station with just a 5 minute walk to the city centre.
We stayed in room 1 and had a lovely view of the river on the morning, hotel was quiet, warm and comfortable.
Martyn assisted with great communication telling us everything we needed to know prior to getting to the guest house, check in and check out was simple and easy.
