My family loved our time at this home, it was the cleanest vrbo I've ever stayed in. The decor was so nice and they thought of everything to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. I would definitely recommend this house!

Blue Iguana - slice of paradise

We really enjoyed the pool and private backyard. The house was decorated so cute and although we didn't use the flamingo bedroom, I took pictures of it to show it off anyways! We were able to find everything we needed to enjoy our stay.

We enjoyed our family time at the Blue Iguna. House is very convenient to restaurants and beaches. Our grandchildren were with us and we enjoyed being on a quiet street. Putting green was a big hit!

Awesome Vacation

Super cute property decorated in "our style"! We absolutely loved the house and enjoyed the various theme rooms and overall vibe. The backyard set up is fantastic for enjoying the sun during the day and the evening atmosphere created to help relax after a day full of activities. Can't wait to visit again!

Relaxing getaway

I needed a relaxing vacation and that’s exactly what I got. Loved everything about the house. We did try to use one of the beach umbrellas but they were all broken but that wasn’t a big deal. The check in and out process was so simple and easy.

Perfect Family Getaway

This was our kids first "airplane trip" and we could not ask for a better place to stay! The backyard was perfect and we spent so much time in the pool. Our kids were never bored, there is a lot to do both inside and outside. The house is beautiful inside and had everything we could ever need. We really appreciated the beach gear (umbrellas, chairs, toys, cooler, etc...). The location is perfect! Close to groceries, restaurants and a 10-15 minute drive to the most beautiful beaches. Our kids are already asking when we can come back to the Blue Iguana!

Awesome getaway

This house is situated near beaches within a short driving distance while also being conveniently located near grocery stores and shops to fulfill your every day needs. My daughter loves the hot tub and pool! Ample beach towels and supplies for the beach and swimming pool. The home was very clean and modern/updated which was appealing to me. I enjoyed late night play at the pool table with the family. The cabinets are stocked with the essentials. There was a very helpful notebook for visitors to reference as well. Would stay here again if I wanted to have proximity to beaches and Anna Maria.

5 Star Florida Home

Property was well decorated which made it really fun. Very clean and beautiful! Loved the iguana wall mural in the back, flamingo wallpaper and many other unique paintings. The pool and hot tub were very clean. There is an outdoor shower to wash the sand off outside after coming back from the beach. There was a box fan which we always use for white noise and a cooler for drinks which was nice. Bed were comfortable. The pool table was nice. Really had everything needed. Could use a new can opener and a broom/dustpan, but these are really the only suggestions we could think of.

Need improvement

We had a good time, but they need to improve if they really want their guests to be completely satisfied. For example: In the master room bathroom, the shower doesn't have any water pressure. In the other bathroom the curtain needs to be replaced urgently, it's disgusting. If a guest called to report a problem, do not ignore him Just some tips. The house is very nice, great location. Thank you!

relaxing home

When we arrived, we found a few things which did not meet the listing information. However the on-call person Jamie was very responsive. The property owner authorized having a few of our concerns resolved even though it was a weekend. Once the initial concerns were resolved, we enjoyed our stay at the Blue Iguana. I highly recommend having the pool heated. It was so much more enjoyable in December. The house is has a well stocked kitchen. We found every small appliance we could need. There were plenty of linens through out the house. Having the billard table was an extra bonus for some evening entertainment. The home is located in a very quiet neighborhood and central to so many activities and beaches.

Nice winter getaway

Property is very nice. Newly remodeled and clean. Well stocked. For winter pool heating, make sure you confirm details. We paid for pool heat and had some difficulty with the rental company (not the owners) to get the pool heater on. It did not turn on as they said it was even though the pool company who comes to do pool maintenance 2x a week told us it’s remotely controlled by rental company. It’s suppose to run 8a-8p but shuts off if it hits a certain temp which is still kind of cool for February. Overall, once we worked things out with the rental co. it was a great trip.

We had a wonderful girls weekend at this house! It was larger than we thought and comfortably fit 10 ladies! The beds were very comfortable and there were plenty of towels for everyone.The outside area was wonderful as well. The pool was perfect for hanging around and chitchatting and there was plenty of chairs for everyone that didn’t want to be in the pool. The tiki bar area was wonderful and did have a couple fans for those of you that get overheated. We paid for the heating of the pool and it did take a little time to set in, but once it was, it was perfect.The owner was very timely and helpful. She was also very kind and is a top notch VRBO owner! Highly recommended!

Overall a great experience

We had an overall great time, we did have a couple of hiccups with the washer breaking the entirety of our stay and other things however the property management team did help us out whenever we needed them and did send people out to fix things when they were needed. Communication was great and we did enjoy our stay.

The house was beautiful and we enjoyed our stay. A few small issues: Just prepare to bring all supplies as the kitchen was great but the coffee maker broke and I reported it but no one replied, also there is not a gas grill as described which threw off our dinner cookout. There is a charcoal grill but grill space was small and we weren’t prepared to cook on a charcoal grill. The corkscrew and can opener both were broken and that was another run to the store after charcoal ! The kitchen has no tupperware or baggies etc or wrap etc need all supplies! We went and purchased but usually people leave supplies so we took all we purchased with us as thinking that was the norm with rental. (Normally I leave behind) the AC was not able to be turned lower but understood as people could freeze out unit. We have rented units ourselves and know it is worth being careful and settings help. The bedding ,towels and furniture were great. The pool table was an awesome hit and enjoyed by all. The decor was so cute ! Plenty of pool towels and bath towels were soft and clean. The house was extremely clean! The pool was as used more than anything else and much enjoyed! Tiki hut great but summer is very hot to enjoy but so sweet. We did sit in the morning after a coffee run! All in all it was much enjoyed other than the issues stated. Loved it and everyone that stopped by agreed! It’s a gem.
