Decent stay but could use some improvements.

Overall, our stay was pleasant. We did have some small issues while there which we did let Vacasa know about after we left only for them to deny the issue being valid so I will share it here for future tenants to be aware of. The condo above ours is lacking insulation in the floor so all footsteps from it can be heard very clearly, especially if there are kiddos running around which is going to happen. We also had an issue with small ants by the entrance and on the kitchen counter. It wasn't awful, but definitely don't leave anything edible out that isn't sealed well or I'm sure they would be much worse. The beds are very uncomfortable/very firm and the sheets and pillowcases had stains on them. We did wash them ourselves, but that's not fun to find if you check in expecting clean bedding. The floors appeared visually clean, however, our bare feet/stocking feet clearly showed otherwise because they were dirty from walking on the flooring so we ended up just wearing shoes inside. The wifi only worked in the main living area but not in the bedrooms for us and wasn't a secure connection. Otherwise, the amenities included worked out well and overall it wasn't a bad stay. I would rent again but would come prepared for some of the minor issues we experienced. I think with some small improvements this place would be great and I would have given it a much better review. I did let the rental management team know about the ants, but their response was to deny any ants on the premises, so my recommendation would be to take photos/video for reference. We were naive to think our word was enough. A great perk for summer is the pool is right across the drive from this condo making it a short walk to cool off in the heat. I am sure other condos on the property would be great options as well.
