“I had a good stay at the Castle Hotel. Lovely little hotel, super comfy bed and gorgeous bed linen. The room was spotless and generous tea and coffee making facilities. Nice bathroom products. No A/C as it's a beautiful old building, but that was fine as was able to open windows and control the radiator. I didn't have a cooked breakfast but buffet options were fine and the other guests seemed to be enjoying their cooked food. I will stay again, thank you.”

“We had a truly wonderful stay at this hotel. The staff were all fabulous, so helpful and attentive, friendly and very welcoming. The food is excellent, delicious breakfast with so much choice and variety and the restaurant and bar menu was perfect and again delicious. Our room was lovely with a very comfortable bed and lovely bathroom. We initially had some problems working the the bath taps ( a nice water temperature was difficult to achieve and they were difficult to turn off fully) but we……

“A fantastic place to stay. A lovely welcome from the owners, who made us feel at home as soon as we arrived. The room was lovely, bed was comfortable, food was perfect and our dog was able to join us without any extra charges which is really appreciated.”

“We only used the room as a base overnight whilst visiting Lincolnshire showground but the hosts made us feel welcome and showed us around the room on check in. The kitchenette was a nice addition, especially the fridge so we could keep our drinks for the weekend cool overnight. We’ll be looking to book again for next year!”

The owners were super helpful in terms of their communication ahead of our booking, as well as in answering all of our questions in the build up. The cooked breakfast in the morning was amazing and we really appreciated their friendliness and their suggestions for things to do in the nearby area.
