“250 Main is truly like "stepping into contemporary Europe" as the property is stunning and eclectic. The staff were very accommodating and informative during our stay. The parking situation is "amenable", but a result of our stay coinciding with the back-to-back Lobster Fest and Maine Boat Show weekends. We never resolved the in-room viewing options as "Live TV" was dead, and the connectivity which allowed for streaming was non-existent. It forced us to immerse ourselves into the ambience of the……
“The hotel clerk was excellent and very helpful. He was very attentive to our needs and a pleasure to talk to. Very good location close to downtown and marina's. We attended the Lobsterfeast which was right next to the hotel.”
“A very pleasant hotel with scenic views perfect for exploring Rockland and the Midcoast. Our King Balcony room was spacious and comfortable. The bathroom and balcony are small but functional. The breakfast room was large and had a variety hot and cold items. There’s an outdoor patio with tables and also sofas around a fire pit. The hotel is located at one end of Rockland’s Main Street strip so it’s a short walk to shops and restaurants and to the Farnsworth Art Museum.”
“The property is beautiful and so well taken care of. Attention to details with Victorian atmosphere and setting was amazing.
The morning breakfast was delicious and plated beautifully! Would love to return next summer.”
“Check-in was easy, the room was clean and included a small refrigerator and coffee maker, and the breakfast was perfect. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit and would not hesitate to stay here again.”
“The hotel was fantastic. Every staff member was so kind, helpful, and seemed to genuinely enjoy their job. The only downside is there is no room service or spa. Usually this nice of a hotel would have both of these. ”
“My wife and I had an amazing stay at Elms of Camden. Going forward, this is where we will stay while visiting Camden. The location of the Elms is splendid, easily walking distance to anything you want in town. Which makes parking at the inn and leaving your car for the weekend a breeze. The owners/innkeepers are the best we have encountered. They serve fantastic homemade, two-course breakfast each morning, they offer all the amenities one could want, and are overall just plain nice. They……
“Kim is awesome! Wonderful B&B. LOVE the old world charm. Oh the Flowers and the Garden! Everything works and totally comfortable. Split A/C for individual rooms. Bottle of water upon arrival in room, cookies in the living room for grabs all day, lovey breakfast and great coffee for a quick send off in the AM. A great visit. Would go back again!”
