“My wife and I travel extensively and have stayed in many B&Bs. We were very disappointed by our stay at Hartstone. The staff were WONDERFUL and did their very best to make our stay comfortable, however the owners are clearly just taking cash from the building with little maintenance or upgrade. “Loved, loved, loved it! Right downtown Camden. We walked to the Grand Harbor Inn for supper looking over the harbor then on to the Camden Cove for Ice Cream. We walked back licking our ice cream cones. The unit was super clean, the beds were comfy, and the shower was hot! We had a continental breakfast the next morning in the kitchen (avocado toast) while chatting with another guest. We totally recommend this place!”

Keep in mind that the bed in room 7 is quite small for a couple.

“The cottage was super ‘comphy’ and perfect for the two of us and had everything that we needed! The owner was fantastic and told us about all the things that we should do while there! Our pup was very welcomed and I knew he was safe if we needed to leave him for dinner. It wasn’t far from Camden/ Rockland/Rockport, which is where we spent a lot of time when not at the cottage. We will definitely suggest it to others and be staying with them again!!”
