We love staying at this location! It’s a wonderful condo, clean and comfy! Close to downtown so we can walk everywhere for everything. We also love having an outdoor patio so we can enjoy the beautiful weather and scenery. Overall, this VRBO is wonderful!

Reviewer Comments: I have been coming to Breck for years and owned a house there for a while, but lately have been trying various rentals to be closer to the mountain. Mountain Thunder was perfect, the room was great, people at the front were very helpful every day! Great stay!

2023 Christmas Vacation

The stay was great. Access to the gondola to take you to the lifts was a short walk, easy. Also to ski back to the condo made the transition from skiing to taking stuff off and getting to the condo very simple!

Beautiful and just as expected

The views were great from our balcony and the outdoor area in the lobby. I was really happy how people kept checking on us and the communication was great. It was nice how everything was within walking distance and the secure underground parking was a bonus.

The description provided held true . Walk to the gondola was short . The ski back to the condo was great! Ski locker on the first floor was convinient Condo was clean and comfortable. I would highly recommend Communication was quick and helpful

The rental was centrally located, walking distance to Main Street, the gondola, etc! The amenities were wonderful, full kitchen, nice bathroom, comfy bed, and a cozy fireplace! 10/10! Would definitely recommend and anytime we visit, we will be a repeat renter! Picking up the room key was so easy, we arrived extremely late and the instructions to gain access were so easy! We had zero problems!

Family Getaway

Conveniently located. Walkable to grocery store, downtown, Breck Connect gondola, free buses and trolley. Unit was very clean and had everything we needed for our stay. Bed and pull-out coach were comfy. Main area has large ceiling fan to keep it cool. Needed to open windows in bedroom to cool off because no AC, and it was a bit stuffy. You can hear some traffic and bus noise when the windows are open. The lodge hosted several large events during our stay, and it was a bit noisy with activities on the lodge patio below the unit.

Great location for skiing & town

We were pleasantly surprised when we arrived to our room. Check-in was a little wonky, it was like the amazing race! There is a convenient ski locker on the first floor. it was truly ski in, and as advertised a 7 to 8 minute walk, through a tunnel, to the gondola. Washer& dryer outside room. Across the hall. There is a complementary, hot chocolate, tea and coffee bar in the morning, and sometimes after skiing. Easy walk to town and all the fun shops and restaurants. We would definitely stay here again.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The location is unbeatable - Gondola Ski back and the pedestrian tunnel to the Gondola parking is literally steps out the back door. Is truly a ski in, not a ski out but about as close as you can get. Because of their location, seems like they felt they could neglect everything else. Real bedding would have been nice, instead of a single thin fleece blanket (the kind that goes between the sheet and comforter at a normal hotel). There were a few more fleece blankets in the closet, but that was it. Lots of pillows, so that was a plus. We tried to make a meal in the kitchen - and were left wanting. The one sharp knife was useless. I think my husband said “it would be more efficient if we just tear it into pieces” while trying to cut an onion. All paper products were the cheapest on the market. The “starter package” was..... dish soap? There was nothing else there. No coffee, tea, condiments, etc. The single hand soap was empty and unusable. There was one larger drinking glass, the rest were rocks-size glasses. Be aware that if not booking directly with the condo, your keys have to be picked up and dropped off in town at Summit Rental office location. It’s pretty close, but just a slight inconvenient additional task, esp if you don’t have a vehicle. Overall it was fine, but I would not say there were literally any thoughtful touches in this place.

Great experience

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The location is perfect, close enough to walk the main drag and far enough away to not feel crowded. Management was extremely responsive and attentive. The couch was comfortable and the size of the apartment was perfect was nice. At first I did not think the bed would be comfortable, but we both slept surprisingly great. The only downside is that they don't have a Keurig coffee pot and we brought our favorite coffee pods. There was no coffee there so we had to make a grocery run right away. It would be nice to have at least a starter coffee supply to help with the traveler fatigue upon arrival. We enjoyed the birds outside our window and overall our stay was very enjoyable. One more thing - the hot tub is not in the building, you have to walk across the street. But once again, we had a really nice experience and would stay here again.
