"Great modern hotel with friendly staff in a great location"

"The room a (deluxe dbl) clean and modern......but there was only access at one side and at the bottom of the bed approx 600mm. No drawers for clothes, no wardrobe just a coat rail with 6 hangers. as we were only there for 2 nights we were travelling light, we managed. Room does not lend itself to suitcase travellers. Also floor to ceiling windows, unable to open curtains as building work in full operation opposite. Shower excellent. Bar staff all friendly and chatty (Morgan) a wee gem, gave us a few hints and tips on where to go and how to get around the city, also check out staff were excellent. We had an issue with the TV in our room which was not rectified during our stay, I mentioned it on checkout and Amber and Michael came up with a little apology we could not refuse. If and when we return, I think a larger room will be a must."

"The hotel was located and functioned perfectly for us. At the end of the tram line, right in front of the hotel. A Dunne's supermarket across the road. A nice walk into and from the city along the river starting 100 yards away. We had the room with a kitchen, washer dryer and dishwasher, or maybe they all do and due to my dietary requirements we were able to prepare food in the evening but ate out every day for lunch. The rooms look good and ultra modern but are not very functional or comfortable to use or relax in. It was too warm at night in the room, if the air cooling system worked it did not keep our room at the set temperature but we were out most of the time. I wanted to use the gym but the keycard never opened the door. You can get drinks and food in the hotel but we never used as we ate out downtown restaurants during the day and just had snacks in the room in the evening. "

"We enjoyed our stay, however after a long day of exploring we really would have liked to chill in our rooms and watch a movie. When we asked about why the tv wouldn’t connect to WiFi staff was a bit rude. Not a huge deal but we were surprised that a big hotel like the Clayton wouldn’t provide a smart tv, the one in the room is basically useless and there for aesthetic "

"The staff were very welcoming and helpful. Our room was lovely, clean and comfortable. The hotel is located close to the train which was very convenient. There were several restaurants nearby as well. "

"The Dublin One Hotel is exceptionally great for the price. One of the best places I've stayed in the whole of Europe in terms of cleanliness and orderliness with an impressive restaurant to boot. The staff is friendly, helpful, and joyous to the point of calling them 'family' especially because they exude effortless warmth."
