「When I went to check in the person behind the counter told me I did not have a reservation. This then began a series of events that caused significant stress. My phone was out of power as was my lap top. I took my lap top to a neighboring hotel where I was able to see I DID have a reservation. That person was not there when I returned but check in was fine. When I eventually saw the person in question he said I must have made the reservation that day with no apology」

「Basic small room with ultra small ensuite on 2nd floor, no lift for heavy luggage. Bed reasonably comfortable although just big enough for two Adults. Sink in Ensuite barley big enough to wash hands and water pressure to high so splashes over floor. Just passable for an overnight stop, but would suggest a larger room if you value space to move freely. Breakfast brought to your room which was a bit of a squeeze but it was cooked well and was thoughly enjoyed.」

「The property itself is a bit outdated although the room in which I stayed seemed newly refurbished and I liked it a lot! Even though it was a budget accommodation, it did include ammenities such as coffee, shampoo, shower gel, etc. The wifi was excellent. The neighborhood was conveniently located for my purposes (25-30 minute walk to Cardiff Bay and to downtown Cardiff). The neighborhood was on the residential side so not very lively. I was on the first floor and was able to hear people going...

Other than the weak wifi connection in the room, everything else was excellent. The breakfast in the morning was a really highlight - great options for vegetarians and pescatarian alike. 「Amazing house for a short weekend away with friends. We came for Easter weekend with a large group of 19 people. We ordered pizzas from the local pizza restaurant under David’s recommendation which made cooking easier and were great pizzas that arrived nice and hot. We did spot a mouse in one of the rooms however but as people who live in the rural countryside ourselves, it’s expected in these types of properties. Overall great stay and lovely facilities- amazing hot tub and we loved the outside...
