“We stayed for three nights and were sad to leave. An absolutely stunning location, with short walks to multiple beaches. The local restaurants were top notch, but with a fully appointed kitchen, we could have easily made all our own meals. It was definitely a worthwhile visit.”

“The spot is great, with spectacular views overlooking Marina Cay and to Tortola and Virgin Gorda in the distance. The beach is just a brief steep walk down the hill. The house is nicely proportioned with a big porch and three bedrooms of decent size. And while not fancy, it is certainly comfortable, clean and very pleasant. The hosts are incredibly attentive and responsive and provided boat transportation and guiding basically on demand. We had a great time.”

“The property is VERY nice. Spacious rooms, beautiful view of the Caribbean. The host is wonderful. Very friendly and helpful. The only thing that was a surprise was the very steep and narrow driveway to get down to the property. That, and the rooster that crowed at VERY early hours of the morning! Make sure to close the windows at night, to keep the noise down!!”

The view from our deck was absolutely beautiful. Great sunsets over St John every evening. I felt bad for how much we had to contact the property manager, but we had quite a few reoccurring issues. “Lovely grounds and plenty of space to spread out. Would stay again—just a couple minor issues. Half of hot tub jets were not working, pool struggled to stay clear and one bungalow had faulty AC. Immigration workers questioned our address as being incomplete but we had no further details to give them. Property manager Katie is so kind and welcoming.”

“What a spectacular home, with amazing views and outdoor spaces, lovely bedrooms, fully-stocked kitchen, and fabulous communication with Jonathan, one of the most helpful VRBO owners I’ve experienced. Its location on the western side of Tortola is perfect: We loved Smuggler’s Cove Beach, Soper’s Hole Marina, and great restaurants like Sebastian’s on the Beach and 1748. Just a VERY special place and wonderful stay! And don’t let the steep driveway and roads daunt you—it’s worth it. ”

Instead, we faced a dangerous, unmarked route, misleading listing claims, and no host support ending with denied access and no refund.• Severe access concerns: Listing labeled it a “centrally located gem” with “easy access” and vague advice to use a “high clearance vehicle.” But the approach road is a narrow, rocky and bumpy, unpaved ramp exceeding a 45 incline with cliff‐side……
