“Leider eine sehr enttäuschende Erfahrung. Unser Zimmer hatte deutlich sichtbaren Schimmel. Trotz mehrfacher Kontaktversuche reagierte das Personal überhaupt nicht, und ein alternatives Zimmer wurde uns ebenfalls nicht angeboten. Wahrend und nach dem Aufenthalt hatten wir Beschwerden, die nach unserem Eindruck mit der Situation im Zimmer zusammenhingen und erst Tage später vollständig abgeklungen sind. Auch das Frühstück war für die geschätzt rund 30 Gäste völlig unzureichend: etwa sechs Scheiben……

“The value per price was atrocious! This hotel caters to tour groups. Meals were crowded and noisy. Only 1 coffee maker at breakfast that broke down, no wonder after 50 people pushed the button for a pour. Room was very bare bones, 12x12 for $350/night. No amenities. Not even a place to go for a short walk. Temperature control not working properly. Parking lot miserable for moving luggage. Food for dinner was a very limited menu and mediocre. Some staff helpful and friendly; others bordered on……

“Sin duda la mejor estadía durante nuestra visita a las Highlands. Es una cabaña acogedora, con una hermosa vista, muy limpia, con todo lo que necesitas. Mis hijos adolescentes la disfrutaron muchísimo. Su ubicación es estratégica para conocer el área y también tiene buenos restaurantes cerca… Volvería a alojarme allí… Gracias!”

“Stunning location, quiet and beautiful, sheep come right up to the gate. Room is comfortable and clean. Communication was easy and quick (we had some questions about laundry).”

“The drive in is gorgeous. Arriving in Glenelg, the location is remote, but very much worth the drive. Rebecca and Ian were superb hosts. The rooms were modern, clean and well appointed. The kitchenette was well stocked. The shower was amazing, but not so much as the view from the door. We've been to 19 countries on 4 continents and rarely had such an exceptional view. We will definitely add another stay here on any future trips to Scotland.”
