The scenic walk to Duckpool Beach is just under 2 miles long, where you will be greeted by clear waters and plenty of space for a picnic or beach games. The nearby village, Kilkhampton is just 2 miles away and is ideal for picking up essentials or enjoying a cosy pub meal. Kids and adults alike can enjoy an active day out on the water at Tamar Lakes Activity Centre (5 miles) or enjoy a trip to the lively town of Bude which is full to the brim with seaside fun. Find family-friendly beaches, rockpools, and exciting activities such as surfing and coasteering.
Park the car in one of the two private parking spaces and head through the front door into the porch where you can leave your shoes and beach attire. Head into to the heart of the house, a bright and airy lounge/kitchen/diner. Enjoy cosy evenings in front of the wood burner and flick on the TV so the kids can settle in with a movie. The practical kitchen is well-equipped with everything you need to cook family meals and has plenty of storage space As this is a reverse level house, both the bedrooms are on the lower ground floor. First up is a double bedroom with access onto a private patio and adjacent is a twin, an ideal set up for a family of four. Completing this level is a family bathroom with a shower over the bath.
Finally, there is a lovely outdoor space for you to enjoy. A private garden with an elevated patio area complete with patio seating and a BBQ. There is plenty of storage space too in the garage for gear such as surfboards and bikes.
