Aparthotel Adagio Edinburgh Royal Mile

"Our room was comfortable and extremely quiet. It was disappointing there was nowhere to sit as the pictures for a studio with double bed clearly show a simple bench sofa or a chair by the bed. We had a strange useless leather table (if that's what it was?) instead. When asked Reception said studios do not have any seating... The bathroom was very small and in contrast the fridge was enormous!! Nowhere to store groceries other than in the wardrobe! Finally, be aware that the bed is on a wooden platform which has very sharp corners and metal angled legs. The whole thing is a trip hazard if you are not 21 anymore. We stay in many apartments or hotels and this is an expensive option, purely for its position on the Royal Mile."

"Beautifully presented property in the heart of historic Edinburgh. Rooms are well presented, clean and modern. The public areas preserve the history of the building while updating with modern amenities. The staff are helpful and friendly and the breakfast is outstanding. The only thing to be aware of is that the parking (in a public building) is a reasonable distance away. Other than that this hotel is well worth a visit, we will return."

"This was a wonderful location to stay. My wife and I stayed in a private room with a bath on the 4th floor. We enjoyed the style in which the property was decorated. Having the bar downstairs was appreciated and the location on the Royal Mile could not be better. We were in the middle of everything but the noise from the street was never a problem. I would definitely stay here again."

"The room was clean, new, and the bed was extremely comfortable. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The location is very convenient if you are taking a train or returning a rental car. Very close to Waverly Station."

"Fantastic location, very close to the tram and a huge mall with lots of restaurants and a much needed pharmacy. Plus there’s a grocery close and many sights were within walking distance. The breakfast was also very convenient."
