Excellent location. The property was clean and well maintained. Although the rooms were spartan in decor and size, it was perfect for my stay which did not include a lot of hanging out in my hotel room. I also stayed at the Motel One in Glasgow and at the Motel One in Amsterdam Waterlooplein on this trip. All were great stays. I would recommend and stay again

I had a lovely stay at the Motel One in Edinburgh. The location really can't be beat, and the staff were very helpful in recommending places to check out. One thing to note in Scotland is that in-room fridges and clocks are not common here, so plan accordingly.

Continental breakfast without hot foods. Staff was excellent and focused on pleasant exchanges and were helpful. We were told there would be “welcome water” in the room but there wasn’t and we had to purchase bottled water from the bar. Otherwise, nice and updated. Room was warm, but they brought us a fan to use for sleeping.
