What a lovely little flat. Located within easy walking distance to shops, beach and train station. Free on street parking after 6pm just out side the entrance. We stayed Saturday to Sunday and no restrictions for Sunday parking which was ideal. A well stocked kitchen with plenty of utensils with salt, pepper and other necessities in the cupboards. Fab rainfall shower with some toiletries if you’ve forgotten anything. The only thing we found negative was the mattress which was not very comfortable due to springs and sagging in the centre of the bed and we couldn’t locate an ironing board. Despite these issues it would not deter us from using this quirky wee flat again nor recommending it to anyone else.

Charming town, easy access to train to Edinburgh. The studio is nicely designed and decorated. Unfortunately, access to the unit was very poor - the code sent to us was incorrect, and the host was unresponsive. We finally gained access after talking with a VRBO supervisor who was able to pull up the correct code that the previous guest used. Unfortunately, the code changed again the second night, and we were only able to gain access by using a different combination of the original 4-digit code. The difficultly of access, compounded by no response from the host made for a very stressful experience.

Funky Studio was comfortable, very clean and had all necessities within, making stay relaxing and enjoyable. Very close to the railway station, about 3 minutes walking, frequent trains into Edinburgh, but note stairs only if you have heavy cases.

The host was great. She worked very hard to get us in a little earlier and we appreciated it. Great little apartment in a really wonderful area. So close to the train and bus right across the street. Easy walk to the stores and cafes and also the beach. So much better than staying in the city. I met some of the nicest and most helpful locals. My only suggestion would be a better mattress. Really nice and very clean. Loved the kitchen. Thanks for a wonderful stay!

Nice place, friendly town

Apartment is cute, area great, friendly, helpful locals. Bed/mattress could be upgraded. There was a glitch on our first day and we couldn't get intonthe place but the owner contacted us later and apologized and refunded is the first night's fee as we had to stay at a hotel. On

Well equipped spacious studio with nice decor. Mattress needs an upgrade. Towels should be replaced as they were shabby and stained. The shower base was not draining properly. Either TV was impossible to tune or there was no terrestrial or freeview channels. Record player was broken. But concern was safety as no lock on shared back door lock on ground floor and was left wide open. A bit of noise from neighbouring properties. Lack of accommodation in area so might be reason for lack of attention to above issues.
