Thanksgiving getaway

Perfect spot on the lake. Close to the public launch, and a great little patio area at the water. Weather was a little chilly, but we enjoyed a couple "day fires" in the sun, by the water.

Best spot on the lake!

We've had our eye on this property for years and were thrilled to see it open as a rental. It's in our favorite part of the lake. There is a gradual slope, with the house not far from the water. No mile-high stairs to climb like so many houses on Watauga. They have done an amazing job of renovating everything and making this a family home. For how small it is, I was surprised that all 10 of us fit there comfortably and had plenty of space. Kitchen and bathrooms were very well done, we loved them. Lots of space outside, lots of privacy. Kitchen had everything we needed. Beds were good. I would love to stay here again.

Secluded home

The morning views are priceless. Home is secluded a little bit off the beaten path, but totally worth it.
