Just got back yesterday from Riverview Cottage.

Just got back yesterday from Riverview Cottage. Just lovely! Very comfortable and clean, it had everything that we needed. Pub across the road, garden to sit in with lovely trees to look at. Near the Manifold and Tissington trails for walking and cycling. We had a lovely time and were sad to leave.

Very comfortable cottage, in a peaceful location. Good local pub, serving great food just a couple of minutes away. Cottage had everything you would need and was furnished well. Owner was very helpful and available if anything needed. Would recommend

Excellent experience for the whole family

This cottage is cozy yet spacious enough for my wife and I plus our two daughters. Every modern convenience blended with a true English cottage experience. Host could not have been nicer or more accommodating. Highly recommend. We will be back.

Cosy cottage in beautiful rural Staffordshire/Derbyshire border.

A very cosy cottage, with efficient and controllable heating during an unexpected cold snap. The kitchen and lounge are well equipped and upstairs have particularly comfortable beds. We had a very kind and helpful welcome from the owner, who lives next door. A beautiful setting next to the river, with access to a variety of gorgeous walks near at hand. A happy time was enjoyed by all. Thank you, Wayne!

We really enjoyed our stay, this is a quality cottage throughout, the outside space is excellent, there is a pub a very short distance away which serves good food. All the little touches are in place to make this feel home from home. The only thing that would have been useful was an information sheet, we were new to the area and it would have helped. Wayne the owner was very friendly and always there to help should you need anything. The cottage was very nice and well equipped and was situated within walking distance of the Manifold Trail. The Manifold Inn was also within walking distance and provided very nice meals. Hulme End is two miles to Hartington where you can enjoy a lovely walk to Milldale (10 miles there and back). We would definitely return to Riverview Cottage in the future. Pat and Mark

An excellent cosy cottage in a lovely rural environment. A sheltered secluded garden was an added bonus, as was the traditional pub just down the road. Great walks and views in the surrounding countryside and the owner could not have been more helpful.
