"Great short stay.Very nice remodeled large room.Nice wood floors.Big TV,nice refrig and microwave.Nice counters.Very small AC unit to 61.I was not hot in room but if I stayed over night not sure if AC would keep up,but I like Amana units newer to 60 with constant fan.But was never planning on staying more than 90 mins so for my stay this was an excellent room."

" I rarely leave negative reviews, but after giving Hilton multiple opportunities over several months to address this matter privately, I feel it is important to share my experience. During my stay at the DoubleTree by Hilton Sarasota Bradenton Airport over the Thanksgiving holiday, I experienced an extremely troubling interaction with the on-site manager. When I attempted to provide calm feedback during checkout regarding a racially insensitive assumption made during check-in, the manager responded by raising his voice, speaking over me, and escalating the situation in front of staff and guests. At one point he shouted, “I am raising my voice, and I will raise my voice,” and stated, “Yes, get me fired. My name is David Alexander. Get in line.” The situation became even more concerning when, after I briefly stepped away to retrieve my car for my elderly mother who has dementia, the manager approached my mother and my 19-year-old daughter directly in my absence to discuss the issue. Neither of them should have been placed in that position. I reported the incident to Hilton Corporate the same day. What followed has been months of delays and deflection. Corporate initially stated the hotel would handle it, then later referred me to the property ownership representative. Despite following those instructions and reaching out again, I have received no response. What is most disappointing is not only the original incident but the complete lack of accountability or meaningful foll"

"We had a great stay at Kompose Boutique Hotel in Sarasota. Everything was clean, modern and very well organized. The staff was friendly and helpful during our entire stay. The breakfast was very good and nicely prepared every morning. It was a great way to start the day before going out. The location is also very convenient – it’s a short drive to the beaches and many restaurants nearby. Overall we were very happy with our stay and would definitely come back again. Thank you for the great hospitality! "

"There were holes in the walls and a big gap to outside door. We needed an overnight place to stay for early flight. Place charges too much for what you get. "

Due to making a 2nd reservation for the same night at a too similar Name/description of this hotel you /Expedia list vs. the Springhill Suites in Bradenton (102 12th st, bradenton). So I paid for a reservation for a room i didnt use and tring to get reimbursed even for a credit with Expedia for a future trip. If you can assist with this request, i would be most grateful."

"Never used the pool. But we enjoyed both the simplicity and the 50s kitchy-ness. Would have liked to have had more towels. Lobby staff was great and the room cleaning staff were both effective and efficient."

"My room smelled like mildew so they switched me to another room, which also smelled like mildew. I was also told that they can’t do a late check out over the phone, but offered a 12pm check out by front desk worker, who was really pleasant during my stay. I would not stay here again. It’s not an up to date hotel, but you’d never know because it’s proceed just as high as the nice ones! "
