「Accommodation consists of individual rooms to let in the host's own house and you share (part of) the kitchen and other shared areas including swimming pool, indoor and outdoor dining areas etc. She is lovely and sociable although doesn't speak much English (apparently her partner who does speak English normally lives there but wasn't there when we visited). It's not really walkable from town or any other facilities, so unless you intend to spend your time relaxing on-site, it would suit...

「Our stay was fantastic! The room’s view was gorgeous! We loved the infinity pool overlooking the aqua and royal blue Atlantic waters. The staff were professional, helpful and friendly. The restaurant was nicely decorated in Caribbean style and the food & drinks were delicious. The hotel was in a great quiet location yet easily walkable to all the beach restaurants and bars. We enjoyed watching all the many colorful kite surfing on Cabarete and Kite Beaches. Don’t miss going to Encuentro Beach...

「House is very well located with views of the ocean on one side and mountain and downtown Puerto Plata on the other side. Very nice pool and outdoor space even when it rains under the large palapas. Owners and caretaker very nice and helpful all the time. Beach, taxis, mini market store, pharmacy and resto all within 5-15 walking minutes distance. And all inside Costambar secured neighborhood. Must take a cab to go down to Puerto Plata though. 5 kms and about $15US one way. We have moved...

「This is single men’s Heaven. You will love this location, it is full of fun, easy to walk to a lot of locations, security is on the property 24/7, and there is food on the property, only disappointment was the gym was not on site and you half to walk up the road to go the the gym and it’s a member fee daily, otherwise everything else was perfect, breakfast was free but you half to pay for your other meals and it’s affordable and convenient if you don’t want to leave the hotel. 」
