「This property has a beautiful location and is advertised as a 4-star boutique hotel however we found the deluxe room small and the breakfast quality/selection underwhelming. We were very disappointed its restaurant was not serving dinner at all, which was the reason we selected it based on reviews and our desire to relax on site after a long day of driving.」

「We enjoyed the location, although there is no food except the lobster house next door which only has breakfast in the summer months. We stayed 2 nights and drove 20 minutes into Baddeck for breakfast each day. The motel is dated and furnishings are well worn, but everything you need is in room.It was lovely to sit outside on the edge of water. The owner is very hospitable.」

「Our visit started with a very rude and unwelcoming man in the office. He offered no words of greeting or welcome just asked how I wanted to pay. The property is run down and the restaurant which is non defunct sits there in a state of disrepair. The room was very dated and the carpet in the main room was filthy and had not been vacuumed. In spite of a decent location with views of the ocean this resort is depressing and not worth the dollars it cost to stay there. No housekeeping of any...
