We stayed a short night before flying out for an early flight. It was Ramadan, and at first there were some traveling musicians celebrating outside but the noise died down compared to our other nights in downtown Cairo. The receptionist did ask me to pay cash vs card, which luckily I had, but it was a bit of a hassle. When I asked him for the price for a taxi to the airport for the 5 of us, it was a different quote than when we asked a few hours later. The elevator has a little step in front of it of it, which I saw some people trip over. The location, which we briefly walked in the afternoon scoping out open restaurants, seemed to have many shops and areas for dining. The sidewalks are not contiguous and you often have to walk on the street, but it was generally safe. There’s a nice mosque in walkable distance. We did not chose to eat at the restaurant and could not make the breakfast.

The staff was efficient. Amenities were ok. Breakfast was a good choice of variety. They even got us food that was not on the buffet when we requested of it. Over all, it was a better ending of our stay in Egypt.

We stayed for 2 nights as it was closer to the airport. Breakfast had multiple choices of breads. Would have preferred limited choices there and more of hot foods and a toaster. Orange juice had added sugars and was too sweet. Eggs were cooked fresh by the chef which was very good. We took a room for 3 people- it was spacious and clean. Bathroom was tight. Overall it served it’s purpose for us.

The hotel room was clean, the beds comfortable, and the bathroom appointed. The hotel has good design and feels upscale despite the inexpensive price. We loved the eclectic restaurant and its patio seating option. I would stay here again.
