THE GREAT ESCAPE - 6 BEDROOM 5.5 BATHROOM W/ SAUNA IN BLS

"I booked this home for a family vacation with 8 adults and 4 children, and overall we had a great stay. The house was spacious, beautifully maintained, and had an excellent layout. Even with a large group, we never felt crowded. The kids especially loved the bunk room.The location was another highlight. It was conveniently close to Big Trees, Murphys, and grocery stores, while still feeling secluded enough to enjoy the peaceful forest setting.The reason we're giving 4 stars instead of 5 is due to a few issues we encountered during our stay:1. The floors throughout the home were quite dirty when we arrived.2. The septic tank was overflowing, which caused a strong sewage odor near the front entrance and stairs. We contacted the property management company, and to their credit, they responded quickly. Someone arrived within about 10 minutes, and a septic company came out later that same day to address the issue.3. The kitchen cooktop felt unsafe to use. The burner knobs did not function properly, so we had to repeatedly check that the gas was fully turned off after cooking.4. One of the bedrooms had evidence of a water leak, including a hole in the ceiling and several water stains.Despite these issues, we enjoyed our stay and appreciated the home's size, location, and overall comfort."

"Everything was so great. It was a great getaway for me and my mom. The cabin is very very nice. Lots of big upgrades since we’ve been there before, everything was very perfect. I recommend this place to everybody who asked me about renting a cabin in Arnold!"

"Clean bright home in a great location. The massive snowstorm of Feb 2026 knocked out power to Arnold and Dorrington for almost our entire trip (so I can't comment on appliances or hot tub as the house was not equipped with a backup generator, but plenty of flashlights and candles) gas fireplace, gas grill and hot water were all still worked (the basement bdrms were chilly w/o power but the house had plenty of extra blankets). Property management team was friendly and responsive when cell service was not a challenge, and stretched thin as you would expect in a borderline snow emergency. Overall a fun trip despite the adversity of 72in of show in 72 hrs shutting BV resort for 3 days, call it too much of a good thing. Thanks for all your efforts teams."
