Das Haus befindet sich oben in den Bergen und hat einen tollen Blick zum Meer (was auf Madeira nicht schwer ist). Es ist ein ehemaliges Wohnhaus, sehr geräumig mit schönem Poolbereich. Ganz ruhig gelegen in einer Sackgasse. Die Einrichtung ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen und bedarf an einigen Stellen einer Erneuerung. Die Küche könnte mehr Geschirr, Töpfe und Besteck enthalten. Es empfiehlt sich, ein scharfes Messer mitzubringen. Wenn das Haus länger nicht bewohnt ist ( wie in unserem Fall), braucht es 1-2 Tage, um gut durchzulüften. Es riecht erst mal ziemlich muffig, was aber vermutlich am Klima liegt. Die Zufahrt ist fürs erste Mal etwas knifflig. Es geht zum Schluss in einer scharfen Linkskurve in eine von Mauern eingefasste Gasse. Die einheimische Nachbarschaft war sehr freundlich und hat uns mit gebrannten Kernen versorgt und uns die Verwendung der über die Mauer wachsenden Früchte informiert.

Cette maison est très bien située, avec une très belle vue. Nous n'avons eu aucun problème pour y accéder, le propriétaire est très réactif. Cependant les matelas sont très durs, j'ai eu un peu de mal à dormir et les équipements ne sont pas parfaits : une seule enceinte du salon sur quatre fonctionne, il manquait une serviette.
