This was our second stay with Marco and Ilaria, this time again with our older dog. We were welcomed with delicious cake and new varieties of pizza – absolutely wonderful after a long journey. We had truly missed this little paradise, where everything is thoughtfully taken care of. Every day we were happily visited by Dora the dog or Furio the cat, which made the stay even more special. We would love to come back for a third time!

Nostalgisch und Reine Natur

Es war wie eine Reise in die Vergangenheit .Es war alles da was man braucht und dann Natur pur.Eidechsen Glühwürmchen Ameisen …..Die Gastgeber absolut hilfreich jedes kleine Problem wurde sofort behoben.Zur Begrüßung gab es selbstgemachte Pizza und es wurde beim Koffer tragen geholfen einfach Klasse Gastgeber.Der Ausblick vom Grundstück ist Wnderschön.

Ein kleines Paradies

Unser Aufenthalt in Pedona war wirklich schön. Marco und Ilaria waren sehr freundliche, fürsorgliche, aber nicht aufdringliche Gastgeber. Das Haus ganz am Ende des Weges war sehr sauber, wirklich schön eingerichtet und gemütlich. Der Garten mit Blick auf Berge und viel Meer war bezaubernden, die Sonnenuntergänge legendär. So sieht vermutlich das Paradies aus. Gut zu Fuß sollte man in der Gegend sein, es geht viel bergauf und bergab. Der Strand ist aber auch nur 30 min. entfernt, und nach Lucca ist es auch nicht weit. Wir kommen bestimmt noch einmal wieder.

Wonderful experience!

My husband and I drove from Naples to enjoy the beautiful Tuscany scenery amidst our travels throughout Italy. Unbeknownst to us, GPS guided us on a much different path than we expected. A narrow winding unpaved trail up the mountain side was not what we expected and we decided to work our way down before getting stuck on the mountain path with a flat tire. When I called Marco to let him know that we would be delayed, he quickly came to the rescue and picked us up and drove us to the villa. After dropping us off to get settled, he went back to our car and replaced our flat tire and drove our car back to the villa.Marco and his wife’s concern for us was more than we could have ever expected from a host. We are truly grateful for their kindness.. The property matched their personality, warm and inviting. We enjoyed our stay and appreciated that they made it a point to check in on us to make sure we were ok.The accommodations were impeccable and the views were amazing! It was a nice place to relax and unwind before we continued our travels. We would definitely return!

Traumhafte Aussicht, perfekte Gastgeber

Wir wurden herzlich empfangen- der Gastgeber hat uns sogar beim Tragen unseres Gepäcks geholfen. In der Wohnung stand ein frisch gebackener Kuchen bereit -sehr lecker! Am ersten Abend bekamen wir auch noch eine Pizza serviert!! Die Wohnung ist schön und gemütlich eingerichtet. Der Garten ist traumhaft, unsere beiden Hunde haben sich (zumindest bis zum Wochenende) sehr wohl gefühlt. Leider wurde am Wochenende in direkter Umgebung mit Luftgewehren geschossen. Wir haben auch Leute mit nem Luftgewehr am Haus vorbeilaufen sehen. Nach den ersten Schüssen war unser Hund extrem verängstigt-wie an Silvester. Wir konnten ihn dann nicht mehr dazu bewegen den Garten zu betreten. Daher werden wir wohl diese Region meiden müssen, auch wenn es uns sonst sehr gefallen hat.

Beautiful rustic hideaway

Although the area was a little confusing to get to, and you definitely need a small vehicle to get through the streets, you end up on the top of the hill overlooking the Valley out to the sea. Marco and his wife were very welcoming and even made homemade pizza for dinner with us. The little house itself is two stories with multiple layers of stairs Which could be hard for some, but was just fine for us. Perfect for a couple who wants a little quiet time and a beautiful area. Just definitely bring bugs.

Ferien am wohl schönsten und friedlichsten Ort

Wir verbrachten zwei wunderbar friedliche und erholsame Wochen an diesem traumhaften Ort. Die Aussicht vom privatem Gartenbereich ist atemberaubend, da man das ganze Tal bis ans Meer überblicken kann. Wer aber so hoch hinaus will, muss da auch erst einmal hin. Die Anfahrt gestaltet sich anfangs aufgrund der Serpentinen etwas abenteuerlich, aber wenn man sich mal daran gewöhnt hat, verliert die enge Strasse schnell ihren Schrecken. Die Gastgeber Marco und Ilaria sorgen mit ihrer Gastfreundschaft vom ersten Pizzaabend, über viele Tipps für Sehenswürdigkeiten und Restaurants bis hin zu einem nahezu rundum Service für gänzlich sorglose Ferien. Sie sind immer ansprechbar und halten sich gleichwohl zurück. Einfach eine gute Ballance. Wir kommen gerne wieder. Herzliche Grüsse Astrid und Martin

Einfach fantastisch

Mit soviel Gastfreundschaft wird man selten empfangen. Ilaria und Marco sind nicht nur hilfsbereit, sondern liessen uns direkt spüren, dass wir mit unseren drei Kindern herzlich willkommen sind. Der Garten mit seiner unglaublichen Aussicht ist ein Traum und alles was man benötigt ist im Häusschen zu finden. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Erholsamer Urlaub in ruhiger Atmosphäre

Mit unserem Hund verbrachten wir eine erholsame schöne Zeit. Eine ruhige Unterkunft in entspannter Umgebung. Von den äußerst herzlichen Gastgebern Ilaria und Marco wurden auch wir mit einem selbst gebacken Kuchen und einem gemeinsamen Willkommens-Pizzaessen empfangen. Der Garten bietet alles was man zum relaxen und entspannen benötigt von den Olivenbäumen, dem Grill, über Hängematte bis zum Whirlpool. Nicht zu vergessen der atemberaubende Blick in das Tal mit Meeresblick. Wir können das Haus nur empfehlen.

absolutely wonderful

Marco and Ilaria were so lovely! They welcomed us with a delicious homemade cake and a pizza from their own oven that was unbelievably delicious. That evening we sat comfortably with them in the garden and ate pizza. Marco and Ilaria also gave us great tips for excursions. Their dog Dora is so sweet. She comes to greet you in the garden every day. She got on really well with our old dog. The house is magical and leaves nothing to be desired. The view and the garden are indescribably beautiful and quiet. The drive to the house is a little adventurous, but can be easily mastered with the right car. Our conclusion: see you next year :)

Magnifique emplacement. La maison est juste parfaite. C'est à 25 min des plages de Viareggio, dont la partie sauvage est belle. On est aussi près de Lucca et de Pise, il y a plein de choses à voir et à faire - pas le temps pour tout en une semaine- surtout que c'est agréable aussi de rester dans le jardin à admirer la vue. Mention particulière pour les hôtes qui sont vraiment tout à fait charmants et prennent à coeur de bien recevoir leurs guests.

Impressive and nostalgic

We have been there with our 2 kids and dog for 3 very impressive and nostalgic days. We enjoyed the breath-taking view, the open fire place, the big garden and the warm and helpful kindness of the hosts. Our dog liked to play with the hosts' dog. We will go back there for a longer time.
