"Beautiful entrance tree lined & gated! Unfortunately the company held my deposit without my advance notice for no apparent well validated reason! Found this very unprofessional not to notify me first. Our room was comfortable but could really do with a make over as quite dated furnishings! Regards, Michelle"

"Room clean and set up as asked, room had a couple of issues (identified to staff who were helpful) location excellent for access to A14, surrounding location noisy and smelly as next to service area. Room warm so needed windows open which wasn’t that pleasant. Breakfast was busy but found a table, food ok, not as good as other brands, many items out when we had breakfast but staff working hard to restock but no fresh fruits, no pastries and juice me mostly empty. Overall ok place for the cost and location."

"Property felt a bit soulless. It was a Monday. No food was being served - we were told we could order bar snacks but the bar wasn't staffed and there were no menus to be seen. Garden area was unkempt with weeds growing under tables, cigarettes butts lying around. could have been so pretty. a door to a staff room was propped open with evidence of someone's lunch. breakfast was good, but the roof leaked on us and we had to move tables. View from the widow showed the roof area above the dining room needed a good clean and paintwork was in need of refreshing. conditioner bottle in bathroom was empty. Either fill it or dont provide it ! It could have been a lovely hotel but attention to detail was sadly lacking. best bit was the Bentley tour. If only everything else matched that in terms of quality."

"We thoroughly enjoyed our recent stay at this hotel. The staff at check in and throughout the hotel were very helpful and friendly, we stayed in the deluxe twin double room, it was very spacious and room cleaned every day. We really enjoyed the use of the pool, sauna, and hot tub. The meals at the restaurant were of an exceptionally high standard, consistently well-presented and delicious. We also really enjoyed breakfast. Especially the freshly made buttermilk pancakes. Very happy we booked into your lovely hotel."

"Convenient location for conference at Hinxton Hall, especially when arriving by train. Not much around the hotel so if you are coming without a car, bring food/drink or be prepared to pay high prices! Room clean and comfortable, if a little tatty in areas. Plenty of towels and hot water/soap for showers. Bed and pillows comfortable. The hotel bar has extremely fierce air conditioning, bring a jacket! I had one glass of Malbec which was very nice but rather pricey. I was left undisturbed and there were no issues during my stay, I would stay again if visiting for another conference, although I did feel the price was marginally too high in relation to the quality of decor etc"
