"Lux home base for outdoor fun. We enjoyed our summer stay at this lovely home. It was perfect for adventuring outdoors and then coming back to a relaxing retreat with luxurious amenities, including a state-of-the-art kitchen, hot tub and stone shower. WiFi pretty good for a mountain, but keep in mind if you have work to do remotely, it may not be able to handle intense applications. Owner was very communicative and easily reachable for any issues that arose. Another plus was that our dog was welcome. I think he might have had even more fun than us. "

"Wonderful place. The location is ideal. Walking distance to both the nice little town of Thomas one way down a river path and water falls the other direction. Easy drive to Blackwater Falls and everything else this hiker's paradise has to offer. Would definitely come back here again. "

"Lovely B and B in a stately, historic house. Marsha is an excellent host. The food is excellent and most comes from their working farm or other WV farms. The surrounding property is beautiful. My room was spacious and comfortable."
