“Good room with all the facilities. Fast WiFi. Right in the center of Santa Elena ( great location). There isn’t a reception or a commom area like a tradicional hotel.”

“This place was peaceful and we felt just like we were staying in the jungle because the bedrooms have these panoramic glass windows. The owners were available for any questions and left guides for Lit’s if adventures. We wound up zip lining and it was AMAZING experience for the kids. We also hiked through the cloud forest and ate at their little cafe. We had such a good time! We saw Monkeys and hummingbirds while cooking dinner and enjoyed the most beautiful sunsets right from our back……

“Cute place on a quiet street that was an easy walk to downtown restaurants and a short drive to hot springs, waterfall, volcano national park and the biggest lake in the country. So many fun adventures in this area!”

“As I say in the title this is a nice place and I will add it is a great value. The host asked us before we left if there was anything we would suggest to make our stay even better. We told Cristian there were a few minor things that would make this place even more appealing. First and foremost a microwave oven would be a huge upgrade. Being able to easily heat up leftovers from dinner the night before would be a game changer.Second suggestion was a dish drying rack. This makes keeping the units……

“Cabañas del Rio was a wonderful place to stay in La Fortuna. We stayed in the family unit with three queen beds and a kitchen. It worked out great for our family of 6. Wonderful garden trail to watch for birds and frogs in the morning. Felt at home here! Clean, comfortable beds, spacious. Thank you for a great stay! ”

“If you are staying in La Fortuna, I cannot imagine a better option. We used it as a home base for all the usual activities in the area. For meals, we could cook right there (the Super Rosvil market is a short walk away) or we could go out to eat - there's Mario's place on the next corner for easy food, or an easy walk to downtown for lots of other options). Secure parking at the apartment beat trying to find parking in town. Maily was a pleasure to work with. The place was very comfortable and……

“Honestly an amazing little spot near the city center. Quiet comfortable and everything you need. One of the light bulbs burnt out and they were there within minutes to replace it. Helpful with things to do around as well”
