“am extremely disappointed with my experience at Red Roof Inn and the way my refund request has been handled by both Red Roof Inn and Expedia. I had someone assist me with booking a three-night business trip through Expedia. Although I understand that the area was busy, I had a confirmed reservation and proceeded to check in. Unfortunately, the first room smelled terrible, and the air conditioner was not working. I returned to the front desk and requested another room, but the second room also……

“I got a great deal on my room and the room was clean, but there was not remote for the TV. I went to front desk and he did try to find us one , but it didn’t work. In his defense my husband told him don’t worry about it, we will just watch the channel it is on, so they never brought us one. The breakfast did not have any type of meat to choose from and the eggs were overcooked. We did feel safe in the area it was in. And the room was cool and comfortable”

“We spent 3 lovely nights with John and Debbie while in Waynesville to attend a wedding. Everything was perfect, nothing to complain about. When we departed early this morning Debbie packed us a breakfast snack to enjoy on the way back to the airport. We would recommend Love Lane to anyone who wants to explore the mountains of western North Carolina and stay in a beautiful house with a wonderful couple. Pete and Jeanne from MA”

“The front desk staff was nice - but that’s all this place has going for it. We had three rooms reserved. One room was okay - smelled moldy and musty. My kids allergies were crazy the entire time (they are highly sensitive to mold) Our other two promised rooms hadn’t been cleaned. Trash and unmade beds. It definitely was not cleaned by staff. We asked for two new rooms. The first room was fine but the smell of bleach was pungent and irritating. The next room I got had a hole in the wall with……
