Great home away from home

This home was well stocked for an extended stay. The large pool was fantastic for swimming laps. The area was great for walking and it was close to many good restaurants. All the things we were looking for in a vacation home. It was great to work with Paul and Dave. We're looking forward to doing it again next year!

Great Location

Our reason for choosing this property were because of the large pool and being river front. Both were perfect. Our hesitation at first was we wished at least one bedroom would have had bunks. Three queens were not our preference traveling with kids but worked out ok. We would definitely stay here again.

The stay was great. The listing showed a dock but it was destroyed in the hurricane and that was not on the listing. The group did a lot of fishing so that would have been good to know before I reserved it. The view was great!

A great vacation!

We have stayed in many villas in many countries and have to say this place really is a worth of visiting again! We had a great vacation in this well equipped, beautiful villa! There is a big pool for kids and adults to swim :) Especially the sunrises were so beautiful to watch from the patio. We really recommend this for a relaxing vacation! Many thanks for the owners!

The location was fantastic !! The views from the pool area are just amazing. The house was in tip top shape and everything worked well. The house has a large pool and the outside area was plenty big enough. The homes furnishings were very nice and comfortable. I would rekomend this home to anyone looking to stay in the area.

This Christmas I and my Family spent at Casa del Rio in Cape Coral.This house is a beautiful.Hous has perfect location near beaches, many restaurants and shops.There are beautiful sunrise views ,big swimming pool with paatio , fishing right next to river.Hous has great equipment and house is very comfortable.All my family was totally satisfied.I would like to recommend to all who wants to spend perfect and relaxing holiday.

Great View

Great views to watch the boats go by. Some issues with check-in and initial no service with internet and tv were quickly resolved the next day. The washer and dryer were fixed during stay and the pool needed some maintenance for algae on the bottom but all in all a solid choice as long as you have flexibility.

Wonderful vacation home!

This property was the perfect place for us as we visited friends and family in the area. The weather was great for spending lots of time in the pool and just seeing the sights of the river, including the constant stream of boat traffic and lovely sunrises! The house is well maintained and had everything we needed. It also was central to many stores and restaurants. Dealing with Paul was wonderful - he was helpful and always got back to us promptly. This lovely vacation home completely exceeded our expectations!! Our family (2 adults, 3 children) loved the location (right on the water) and the large pool! The house was much bigger than it seemed in the pictures. The furniture and beds were extremely comfortable and plush. We loved the open floor plan and the amazing views! Get up early and enjoy the gorgeous sunset with your morning coffee!! The location is private yet close to stores, restaurants and beaches. Paul, the owner, went out of his way to make sure we enjoyed our trip. He was extremely friendly and helpful. Rich, the property manager, was also very kind and made our check-in and check-out extremely simple. The house was well-stocked and had everything we needed, including beach towels and pool toys. This was the BEST VRBO we have ever rented (and we use VRBO about 8 times a year)! Thank you Paul for making this spring break one of our best!

Family time!

Overall, we were happy with our stay and the house. We were there during an extremely hot week, so the air struggled to keep up. We ran out of toilet paper and paper towels, so keep that in mind. Pool needs some TLC, but it didn't stop our 8 years old from enjoying every moment in the water. Richard was awesome and we enjoyed chatting with him. My golden rule with VRBO - leave it better than you found it. We did.

Boaters Dream

Great water front property with quick access to the Gulf. Having the lift to get our boat out of the water and cleaned up each evening was very helpful. Public boat ramp is very close to the house. We were able to basically live on the water the entire week, plenty of good restaurants out on the islands to visit for lunch, and plenty of great fishing in Pine Island Sound, Captiva Pass, and Redfish Pass to keep us entertained. Would definitely recommend this location and plan to rent it again ourselves if available.
