“Great room, friendly staff! ”

“The most “at home” experience on our nearly two week trip. We will be back.”

“We have just spent two nights at the lovely Harbor Inn on Ocracoke Island. We stayed in a Standard room (1st Floor Harborfront King with a private deck). The room was great. Very comfortable, clean and spacious. There was also a little kitchen area with a fridge, a microwave and coffee making facilities. We enjoyed sitting on the front deck reading and watching the harbour views. Breakfast was included in the room rate and is served in the building opposite that houses the hotel reception. This……

“The standout feature of this hotel is the shower—spacious, with plenty of hot water, and easily one of the best I’ve experienced. The room itself was large, clean, and well-maintained, with a comfortable bed that made for a relaxing stay. The property is located in a quiet, somewhat remote area along the water (not a beach), offering pretty views and even the unique sight of wild horses nearby. Check-in was quick and efficient, and both the hallways and room were kept in excellent condition.……

“This is one of my favorite places to stay. It’s so quaint, clean and the staff is so friendly. The warm muffins and coffee delivered to your room in the morning to enjoy on the balcony overlooking the water is a huge plus as well. ”

“The house had an unpleasant odor, the kitchen pots were not very clean, and there were no blankets provided for sleeping, which was inconvenient. If the host could improve the cleanliness of the kitchen, freshen up the house, and ensure blankets are available, it would make the stay much more comfortable.”

“Overall enjoyable. They seem pretty understaffed for the size of the place. The staff I interacted with was cordial. If you stay more than a couple of days you will have to go to the laundry exchange to get linen. A text is sent to your phone asking if you have any issues or concerns. I had an issue of the smell of marijuana coming through the bathroom vents 3 or 4 nights. I reached out about it but did not get a response. A lot of stains on sitting furniture. There is also construction on……
