Our stay at the cottage was fantastic.

Our stay at the cottage was fantastic. We arrived to shortbread biscuits, which we all ate and bottle of wine. The cottage was comfortable clean, and the hot tub my husband and son made good use of. We took our dog to kingmoor Nature Reserve, which was a drive away . Our dog loves off lead walks, and this was ideal. The cottage was out of the way of the hustle and bustle, so you need to drive. This was exactly what we wanted . Jackie, the owner, was lovely, nothing too much trouble. She advised me to take some damsons from the tree and make damson gin, which I did and will. The garden was huge and enclosed so our dog was safe. Our stay was restful and peaceful which is what we needed. We and the dog loved it and would definitely go back again.

Lovely spacious cottage.

Lovely spacious cottage. Everywhere was a drive but we knew that when we booked. Short drive to local amenities and Carlisle itself. Would recommend for a relaxing get away.
