“Charming hotel with very accommodating staff. We were able to check in early. Thank you. Our room in the older section of the hotel needed some TLC - vinyl floor in the bathroom in particular. Nice, full breakfast”

Also — really looking forward to the hot tub and but again front desk staff had no idea what I was talking about despite it being listed as an amenity on the website. Kinda rots after a long hike on Hadrians wall. Carpeting throughout was old, outdated, and very grungie. Overall, very mid.”

“A very clean and well equipped room - limited parking but perfectly adequate - disappointing lack of breakfast - rice crispies and cormflakes don't do it! Very good dinner and bar facilities”

“i have already paid for my breakfast，but they still charge me 4 ponds”

“The property is located right next to the railway station. The staff were very helpful. Breakfast was good. “Great parking. We didn’t realise when we booked that the pub would shut at 8 pm on the Sunday which was disappointing but they gave us a key to enter the building and to come and go as we wanted. The bedroom was comfortable and the breakfast was very nice.”

“Fabulous room filled with thoughtful touches from bathrobes thru to fans - with every detail tastefully considered for the most enjoyable guest experience.”

“Close to the town centre”

“Room large and very clean. Lovely small hotel with a beautiful restaurant. Very quiet at night. Highly recommended ”
