「To visit the caverns, we have to choose a hotel in Carlsbad. There was not much options out there. Everything was OK here, with an unfair price though. However I would assume there hardly is a better option around this area.」

Once we backtracked out of the canyon, the owner sent me her location and we found it. She is concerned and will get with tech to fix that. She checked us in with our late night arrival. 「Very worn property. The bathroom was not clean. There was very little light, the air conditioning worked fine, but was extremely loud. I was not happy that they turned off my cardkey 1 1/2 hours before checkout time, so I had 2 bags locked in the room.」
