"There is no TV in the Captain’s Quarters. That’s a good thing. This was an exceptionally peaceful place to stay. The bed, the linens, and the pillows were awesome. Learning about the history of the property added to the experience of the stay. Be sure to check out the fishing pier for more colorful back story of Carrabelle."

"Wow! We loved our stay! We’ve been coming to St. George for about 27 years and this was our first condo experience. Maria’s place was the best stocked we’ve ever stayed in with lots of space. We brought our beach chairs and gear but will bring nothing next time! Plenty of beach gear. Maria also was a great communicator! She checked in several times to make sure our stay was going well. Book this property! You won’t regret it!"

"Overall we liked Fools Gold. There are a few things to keep in mind. There was no hand soap, and less than a half roll of TP in each bathroom so make sure you've got that when you arrive. My son prefers to only sleep with a top sheet, and there were no top sheets available for the bunk beds even after asking. You're going to be on camera if you're outside the house, including on the deck so don't expect privacy. The beach walk isn't far, but it's a lot of stairs and was a bit overgrown. The house itself was very nice, the kitchen was well stocked, and even had good tasting filtered water from fridge. The beds were comfortable, and the AC worked well. The water pressure was good,and plenty of hot water. The balcony view is nice, but not a full beach view. The beach itself was uncrowded, and plenty of shells, my wife even found a bunch of natural sponges. There were some beach chairs and beach toys available to use."
