"Second time we have stayed here, first time was good but not so much this time. Room looked tired and in need of a revamp. The room was clean but little things light dust on the back of the doors and fittings look well used. Breakfast was disappointing, the young man who was on "

"Stayed here last night and really enjoyed our stay (2 adults 1 teenager) I’d originally booked a room with 2 queen beds but the hotel had double booked so they messaged me to stay would provide us with a complimentary drink per person for the inconvenience, when we arrived they had all ready sorted parking out for us & gave us a complimentary breakfast the next morning we also received 25% off food & drinks in the TAP BAR as we had the Leeds arena booked for the HOTWHEELS event. It’s a 10 minute walk to the trinity centre & plenty of bars along the way if you wanna stop for a drink would highly recommend this hotel and will be returning in the future when in Leeds."

"Clean modern room with great facilities. Comfortable bed. Excellent location for accessing Leeds city centre. Breakfast provided and service was slightly slow but as expected due to busy hour for buffet breakfast. Food was enjoyable with a choice of full english, cereals, pastries alongside fresh juices and hot drinks. Would highly recommend for long or short visits to Leeds."

"Main problem with our stay was the breakfast experience on the second day. There seemed to be a shortage of staff which resulted in the whole experience being a shambles. There appeared to be only one person in the kitchen and only one person in the restaurant. Front of restaurant was having to check reservations and having to act as a waiter for a large number of tables and guests. Kitchen staff were unable to keep up with the replenishment of food, plates and cutlery. Minor point of complaint was the position of the toilet roll holder in the bathroom of our room. This was situated ridiculously close to the toilet seat. We also thought it unhygienic that there were no hand towels provided only bath towels."

"Great staff. Lovely breakfast in room for £5 tray charge (booked room rate with breakfast included). Central location but what let's it down was the loud music blasting all night outside till way after midnight. We were on the fifth floor and it was so loud I couldn't sleep. "

"This was our first visit to the newly refurbished Met and we were not disappointed, as the hotel is very classy and has great amenities. The room was lovely with a choice of biscuits, cans of water, coffee and tea facilities and also a bar of chocolate, which was a nice touch. The bathroom and the decor in the room was very nice and although an unusual layout, due to the position the room was in the building (long and thin, rather than usual squarish of most hotel rooms), this wasn’t an issue as very comfortable, and bright, with very good A/C too. Only disappointing thing was the water pressure in the shower was very poor and could be improved, but didn’t spoil visit. Breakfast was very nice too, with a good choice of hot and continental options. They did have scrambled egg in the hot food section, but you could also ask for fried or poached if you wished. Will definitely visit again in future. "
