"Had fantastic time went with family to celebrate my birthday 6 adults 2 small children plenty space for all of us outdoors very safe for 3 4 year old cottage spotless went to girvan beach highly recommend not as busy as Ayr which is ideal thank you angela"

"House itself is in need if a little TLC Didn't stop us from having a brilliant time here.The "hot tub" has to heated with logs, which are provided, left to heat for about 1 hour before going in. Water is brown, dirty looking, from tap but drinking water is provided. Loved the holiday. Host was very helpful and friendly. Dogs were very friendly as we're the horses and sheep. One thing we did miss were mats in the shower as one of the ladies slipped and fell in shower, gave herself a really sore bottom and back. Overall we Loved it. "

"We spent a lovely spring week surrounded by daffodils and rolling Ayrshire hills. The accommodation was very clean and comfortable with space for nine at wauchope cottage, which is part of the old stable/coach house. The staff were polite and the apartment was dog friendly as long as you can keep your dog in the kitchen or hall until it dries off as the livingroom and upstairs bedrooms have light coloured carpets. Overall a lovely holiday in an area and accommodation in which we would love to stay at again."

"Our Christmas at the cottage was lovely. We all thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The cottage was so well maintained and clean. Had enough space for our party of 5. There was no wifi but did have weak mobile internet so we got by with that. We actually enjoyed being technology free for a couple of days. Lovely walks with the stream just behind the house was idyllic. The housekeeper was very helpful and was prompt with queries despite it being Christmas holidays. Nearest shops were in Castle Douglas which was about 10-15 mins drive away. Would definitely come again!"
