Room was clean and had a lovely view of the sea. There was ample parking, although we didn’t use it. Hotel very near a bus stop. Three very nice restaurants to choose from too.”

“Couldn't fault the hotel or staff. Whatever you asked for, it was no trouble at all. Our room was fine with a balcony that overlooked the harbour. Plenty to eat at breakfast. You can start with continental and then have a cooked meal if you want. The only drawback for us was the number of steps and sloping paths/ roads you need to negotiate to reach the hotel. That said, we would recommend this hotel.”

“The staff was exceptionally professional, helpful, and kind. Very nice facility with a lovely garden in the back and very comfortable common rooms. Excellent breakfast with lots of variety. We ate several evening meals here and they were as good as any restaurant in the area. The Chef works very hard to optimize flavor and presentation. The location is almost adjacent to Victor Hugo‘s house. It was a warm day during our first evening and the hotel was able to supply us with a fan. If……

“Attractive hotel and garden. Excellent breakfast choice and efficient and friendly breakfast staff. I enjoyed the pool in the spa area and my husband loved the private hot tub on our patio. Our maid/housekeeping attendant was called Navjot, special mention for her efficient and excellent service, she made our stay very comfortable. Nice touch with arrangement of towels etc. Only unfortunate aspect is noise from private events on Fri and Sat in one or two of the ground floor rooms, the music did……

Most staff seem happy and helpful except the chap we got the pool towels from, maybe because it was a hot sunny day and he was stuck inside a gloomy room at his desk Outdoor pool Ok but indoor needs refurbishing looks like black mould all around the grouting on the spa pools not nice to see Food in restaurant and at breakfast very good, but again the……

“The A-Team that make this hotel great were excellent. There’s some building work happening which meant the sauna wasn’t accessible but it’s a small point to an otherwise great stay”

I found it be peaceful, I was at the rear of the property, and particularly liked the second door into the room, which I'm shielded me from any hallway activity. Pool was lovely, and breakfast excellent. Friday, live music :-)”

Pool been shut for 2 years and Heath Spa now shut as well. Breakfast was really quite good. Location suited us as was a short walk to event we were attending nearby.”
