We've just spent a week at Ramerish and have to say we found it to be a gem,the property has recently been completed to a very high standard,and it shows,lovely wee touches adorn the property and the quality of the soft furnishings etc are plain to see, this place even has a separate dog shower -this is a first for us-The local area has walks aplenty and some stunning scenery,local amenities are a short drive,but don't let it put you off we found it more than worth it,Jenny and Andrew are great hosts , being accessible yet never intrusive-Jenny in particular has a wealth of knowledge on the local area which is invaluable, all in all a quality setup which we will visit again.

An excellent property in an idyllic location.

An excellent property in an idyllic location. The property is modern, clean with a really well equipped kitchen. The extra barn is a brilliant additional space for older children and for nature watching using the binoculars which were provided. The owners are on hand to help with local knowledge and lots of information leaflets are in the property. There is so much to do locally a week wasn’t long enough.

The cottage was spotless, every amenity and so well thought out in terms of layout, size of rooms and the ambience created by the whole cottage. Jenny and Andrew were also the perfect hosts. The location was just wonderful, in the middle of the Galloway Forest. Despite its tranquil location, there was so much to do in the area. Just a perfect holiday.
