"The most beautiful hotel in the most idyllic Devon setting. We stayed on a wet and dreary February evening and we didn't even care about the weather. We played tennis in the beautiful gardens in advance of our outstanding 10 course tasting menu dinner with paired wines by Michael Wignall. The sommelier kindly typed out the wine pairings for us at our request. The wine pairings are not mentioned on the menu but for the complexity of the courses, I would recommend you opt for the wine pairing with...

"Our stay at the Cridford Inn was absolutely fantastic. From the room, the staff, the restaurant (we tried the medieval recipes and they were great), the bar and the fabulous breakfast. Our only regret is that we didn’t stay longer. The area offers a vast number of walks on the beautiful Moor. "

"Excellent place to stay. Quiet and very clean with a great breakfast. Ryan was very welcoming and helpful. Would definitely stay again and would recommend to anyone for either a stop off en route further south or for an extended stay."

"A wonderful rental property, in a great location. A very comfortable cottage that is very well stocked, in the beautiful village of Chagford. Easy access to all the sights and walking trails in Dartmoor. Chagford is just wonderful itself, numerous great pubs and restaurants, a grocery store, several delis and bakeries, a hardware store...everything in the town and in the rental that you could ask for. We would definitely recommend this property and we would stay here again if in the area. "
"Lovey hotel. We went for an afternoon tea gift. Which was amazing. Everything baked in house. We made a weekend of it with an overnight stay. Staff very very friendly and nothing too Much trouble. Location is wonderful with a couple of good walks.
Rooms very clean and homely. Food very very good. You really do feel spoilt. "
